Christy is a Pacific Northwest native. She attended Western Washington University, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a Minor in Law. Knowing she wanted to be a lawyer, Christy went straight to law school after college. She graduated magna cum laude (the top 10% of her class) from Seattle University School of Law. A highlight of her time in law school was interning for a King Superior Court judge who was presiding over family law cases. Christy was inspired by this experience and chose to practice family law to be able to make a real difference in people’s lives by assisting them through their most significant life changes.
Prior to her family law practice, however, Christy worked as a prosecutor, focusing on domestic violence cases — spending countless hours in the courtroom, which fostered her becoming a skilled litigator. She draws on this meaningful experience in her litigation cases and when working on cases involving abuse.
Christy also embraces non-litigation avenues for reaching resolutions for her clients. She is a collaboratively-trained attorney. In all of her cases, be they collaborative or not, Christy works diligently to resolve matters amicably and outside of court when possible to save her clients time, stress, and money.
In Christy’s free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
